It is crazy how most people have the tendency to be so hard on themselves, including myself of course.
We got used to complain about everything and to always find a new flaw to work on. There is nothing wrong with analyzing yourself and willing to improve yourself. The only problem is when you bring yourself down because you are not perfect or for having another flaw to work on.
Just like we always say we should count our blessings instead of always complaining, that is a way of seeing things positively. So instead of hating yourself for your imperfections, you should be proud of yourself for things you’ve been able to change or improve already. Congratulate yourself for not being who you used to be years ago, even though you still got a few things to work on, it’s a huge step already.
If we keep thinking negatively, it will definitely affect our wellbeing. We must change our focus and be proud of all of our accomplishments more often, no matter how small they might look to us. Being positive means to see the good part in every situation, especially during hard times. Challenges for most people are seen as a threat but it is actually nothing else than an opportunity to grow through it.
