Quote of the week

You are just human.

Being imperfect,

doesn’t make you any less.

What is a perfect christian? I know that I am not the only one doing that but sometimes I blame myself for not being a perfect christian. Not being able to impress everyone in my walk with God (clearly not my goal but feel like that is what they want me to do). Or sometimes when I think I am not doing so bad, I never miss someone to remind me how I still got a lot of things to work on. Sometimes I even feel like the more pressure I get from people and the more easy it is for me to disappoint them. Even if I am willing to be a “perfect” christian, knowing that people expect me to be this or that drives me crazy, so I just end up doing whatever…

People need to let the judging part to God and help each other to get back on track with their relationship with God. God loves you as you are and what the devil want is to keep you away from his presence sometimes by using people from the church. They think that they are helping you by being hard on you and reminding you everything you are doing wrong but they are just making it easier for you to avoid church. Because why would you even go to church if in everything you do it is only the bad things that comes back to you like if all the efforts you put in other stuffs doesn’t count. And when you tell them that you are not here to impress anyone but God, you are starting to regret even saying it.

Ps: Don’t be too hard with yourself and remember that you are perfectly imperfect. No need to pressure yourself and to try hard to be perfect, NOBODY IS PERFECT, not even your pastor.

  1. You are the perfect Christian. When Jesus died he took all of your imperfections into himself and then he poured all of his perfect self into you. All you have to do is accept his work on the cross by faith and believe he has made you perfect and live as Christ. God sees you as perfect in Christ. Hebrews 10: 14 – 18 LB

  2. Beautifully written post. Great topic as well. Jesus 💯 human walked and lived in world face life trials and was tempted, but he resisted. Jesus Christ perfected the sin factor. He completed it when he took on every sin committed by man, hung on the cross. Jesus to Man’s (human being) place. His shed blood on the cross paid the cost, He sits at the right hand of God. We have been made righteous through Christ Jesus. God Loves you. Walk in Love. You have been made, free indeed. Live and enjoy life, shine bright.

    1. Thank you very much for your comment. I mean not even sure what I could add to this, we should all take notes and understand that like you said Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross. God loves us sinners but hates sin. I believe that he wants us to come as we are and HE will transform and work on us like nobody ever will. The sad thing is that people in church can be so discouraging and hard sometimes that even though you know that you are doing your best, it is still not enough. But Jesus should be our focus, not human beings, because HE will never give up on us. God bless your heart beautiful, thank you again for your message. ❤️😴

      1. We have been made the righteous of God By Faith. You are right, God meets us right we’re we are. He declares his love for us while we are yet sinners Romans 5:8. Our focus indeed must be God, we are to be imitators of Christ
        (I Corinthians 11:1).
So we Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
        You got it, Blessings,
